What is art for you? Maybe you would say it is works of art collectively as paintings or sculptures. A field, genre, or category of art like dance. Or any field using the skills or techniques of art. But generally art is everywhere. When you mix colors and images together, you mount some clay and autumn leaves, or making quilt for your bed using old clothes and other fabrics, those can be defined as art. Experimenting with materials that produces images or any pattern is also an art.
What about mosaic? It is something resembling such a picture or decoration in composition, especially in being made up of diverse elements. Mosaic tiles are usually found in cathedrals and other worship places. Using a wide variety of materials, this type of art can now be incorporated into everyday items. Mosaics can be made of small, usually colored pieces of inlaid stone, glass, etc. There are stores and suppliers for these kinds of materials.
With imagination, creativity and patience assembling tiny pieces of whatever materials you want to form a design, anyone can make a design of their own. You can make mosaic with your pathways, stair landings, curtains, wall decorations, dining table, flower vase and even your windows at home.
